Who was Cherry Valentine, the RuPaul’s Drag Racestar?

Cherry Valentine, a RuPaul’s Drag Race star, died unexpectedly at the age of 28. The family of the TV star acknowledged the devastating news today and expressed their grief. It is known as Cherry, whose real name is George Ward, died. 

In a statement, his family said that with the utmost grief they informed everyone that their George Cherry Valentine had suddenly passed away. They also added that his fans will be shocked, and they acknowledge there is no simple way to break the news. They are still processing their loss, and their lives will never be the same. 

Cherry Valentine is widely known as George Ward, and he was a Darlington, England-based drag queen, and mental health nurse. 

He also participated in the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. He appeared on television and starred in the BBC documentary Gypsy Queen and proud. He was raised as a traveler in Darlington, County Durham. He is also certified as a mental health nurse in 2015 before he even started his career in drag. Let us tell you that George was one of those 12 candidates for the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in December 2020.
