The recognizable South Mumbai precinct is followed by about 6000 people as they run

On Saturday, nearly 6000 people ran a historic route through the South Mumbai heritage precinct. They also demonstrate the city’s rich history. Additionally, it takes place during one of the many heritage runs that the Indian Navy sponsors. They honor the independence of India, which was achieved 75 years ago.

The Indian Navy Umbai Heritage Run started at the Lion Gate, passed by the Naval Dockyard, the Asian Library, Ballard Estate, CSMT, BMC HQ, High Court, and Marine Drive, before coming to an end at the Gateway of India.

Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh praised both civilian and military participants for exhibiting patriotism, unity, and enthusiasm in support of safeguarding and preserving the city’s rich history.
