Telcos asked to gear up for the 5G launch by the Telecom Min

On Thursday, telecom minister Ashwini Vaishnaw asked the telecom providers to speed up the launch of 5G. He also posts the issuance of the spectrum allocation letters. Generally, the telecom department issued spectrum assignment letters on the same day for the successful bidders of the radio waves to make payments upfront.

The latest update on 5G is that the spectrum assignment letter has been issued. And they requested the TPs to prepare for the 5G launch. All this is written by Vaishnaw on social media platforms. Bharti Airtel, Jio, Reliance, and Adani networks, and Voda Idea for spectrum won in an auction, so the DOT received almost Rs 17,876 crore from the service providers.

Let us tell you that the country’s biggest auction of telecom spectrum has received about Rs 1.5 lakh crore of worth bids. And by which the Mukesh Ambani Jio cornering about half of all the airwaves has been sold in Rs 87,493 crore. The chairman of Bharti Enterprises, Sunil Bharti Mittal, said that his company will receive a spectrum allocation letter within a few hours of making an upfront payment to the DOT.
