India’s 7th weightlifting medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022: Harjinder Kaur

Harjinder Kaur brought the 7th medal in weightlifting as she had already got the bronze medal. With that, she brought home 9 medals from the commonwealth game. She has been attempting to lift 212 kg for the longest time. In her final attempt of lifting 119, she was out of the fray as Canada’s Alexis Ashworth had lifted 123 kg. But Harjinder pushed herself a little more and finished by winning the bronze medal for India.

In the second attempt, she did lift 116 kg. But, in the end, she brought a medal to India for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
